Definition

  • Grappa drawn from the distillisation from plums and produced in the Friuli and the Balkan territories. Slivovitz is a fruit distillate with a rather high alcohol content which ranges between 40 and 45%. Its appearance is pure and colorless. However, it takes on a straw yellow tone in its aged versions.
