Definition
- Cherry tomato of the species Lycopersicon esculentum Mill, grown on the slopes of the Mount Vesuvius, preserved with a technique called "a piennolo," that consists in tying together some clusters of ripe cherry tomatoes to form a bigger cluster, favouring slow ripening and long storage.
