Definition
- Marrone di Combai PGI designates the fresh fruit obtained from the domestic variety Macrocarpa of the species Castanea sativa M. Its skin is dark brown and bright, with streaks. The flesh, whose colour is white, is crunchy and has a sweet taste. The husk of theh chestnut contains up to three seeds.
