Pan-Latin Photovoltaic Systems Lexicon
dc:description
Terms referring to photovoltaic technology and its management have become more and more common in just a few years, since the description of this renewable energy has increased, in scientific as well as in institutional communication. From its first textual environment – the technical text – the terminology of solar and photovoltaic energy has been introduced in programmes and guidelines of national and local policies, of national and private companies and in media. The Pan-Latin Photovoltaic Systems Lexicon (Lessico panlatino dei sistemi fotovoltaici) developed within the Pan-Latin Terminology Network (REALITER) aims to describe the basic terms of photovoltaic systems in order to build a multilingual reference database for those with terminology needs in this domain. The terms are presented in eight different languages: Italian, Catalan, Spanish, French, Galician, Portuguese, Romanian and English.
